Album Of The Week: Material by Blaqk Audio

For a week now, I have been listening non-stop to the new Blaqk Audio album Material a good friend passed down on to me because he hated the album. I absolutely love the album. The songs are incredibly catchy. There have been moments on the album when I felt like I was listening to Covenant or Apoptygma Berzerk. The song "Curious Friends" in particular bears a striking resemblance to Covenant's "Call the Ships to Port".All the songs have solid pop hooks and great club-friendly dance beats. Certainly worth recommend checking out. Damn shame I didn't go to their show at The Turf Club earlier this year. I would have loved to see them perform these songs in person.
