Albums and playlists I am currently listening to
I spent most of my work week listening to my random mixes. They really do make my work day go by a little more quickly and more bearable. Sometimes I just need a good mix of music outside of goth, industrial, and synthpop music. With the way this summer has been going for me (which is absolutely shitty), I need my mood to be picked up by some cheesy ass pop/rock music.
Just got my copy of Rhapsodies in Black by Exit Eden this week. Love this album! That is all I have to say.
Just started listening to the newest effort by Android Lust in her Crater series called Berlin. I have only listened to the album twice but I do like what I have heard. The music is mostly instrumental with the occasional track with vocals.
Right now I am listening to the album Metanoia by The Moon and The Nightspirit. I came across the band in the related artist sections for Elane. I definitely need to listen to the album a few more times before giving any opinion. To be honest I am not feeling it on this initial listen. I suppose if I listen to the album more often, the music might sink in with me. Maybe.
The weather today has been crappy for a summer day in August, very chilly and sometimes wet. Perfect weather though for some Autumn and The Bellwether Syndicate. I can hardly wait for both bands to put out new music, especially Autumn (and from what I have read online, their new album comes out this winter).
